Jeanna Beck, Director of Consulting

Jeanna Beck coordinates and provides customized, expert services to nonprofit organizations to help them improve their overall performance. Jeanna has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, including board and staff development, fundraising, event planning, capacity building, strategic planning, community organizing, and crisis intervention. Jeanna spent the last decade working in the housing and homelessness sector, and prior to that she worked in health and human services, juvenile probation and reunification, and higher education. Originally from Ohio, Jeanna quickly established her home here after receiving her Psychology degree at Maryville College and falling in love with the East TN mountains. Sam Kimbro, Director of Community Programs

Sam Kimbro manages the educational training, cohort programs, and networking events at ABN. She works with both nonprofit professionals and subject matter experts to empower our nonprofit community. She was born and raised in Knoxville, but briefly lived in Boston while getting her degree in film and television at Boston University. She has over a decade of nonprofit experience from her time at ABN, United Way of Greater Knoxville, East Tennessee Foundation, and community radio station WDVX. Sam is a BoardSource Certified Consultant and a graduate of the Consortium for Social Enterprise Effectiveness, a program of the University of Tennessee Haslam College of Business.
