July 14th Program Evaluation Training to Be Held at UT

The Alliance for Better Nonprofits is honored to be hosted by the Consortium for Social Enterprise Effectiveness at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business for our July 14th Training on Nonprofit Program Evaluation by Stephanie Strutner. This rare opportunity will allow attendees to see the Haslam School of Business and learn more about the Consortium for Social Enterprise Effectiveness. The Consortium for Social Enterprise Effectiveness (CSEE) program is a year-long certificate program that strengthens social mission organizations and those who lead them. CSEE is offered through the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, located in the College of Business. The CSEE program is a two pronged approach to develop leaders of social mission organizations in becoming stronger managers of their organizations and to foster organizational strategy building skills that include preparing an organizational assessment, strategy and action plan that will take your organization to the next service level. This course is designed for executive directors and other senior leaders in organizations focused on social missions. About the Class
Nonprofit Program Evaluation will be led by Stephanie Strutner. Stephanie is the Director of the Allies for Substance Abuse Prevention of Anderson County. She is responsible for supporting the community coalition, developing and carrying out effective strategies to show a measurable decrease in the prevalence of substance abuse and a measurable increase in knowledge, capacity and accountability among Anderson Countians. Stephanie has been credited for securing millions of dollars in grant funding, mentoring community coalitions, and diversifying the organization’s funding portfolio. As a former epidemiologist and evaluator, Stephanie has a wealth of knowledge on evaluation, performance measures, and outcomes with a focus on legislative advocacy. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Emory &Henry College, a Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Management from the College of Business at the University of Tennessee, and is a Level II Certified Prevention Specialist. She has served in leadership roles at the state level for nonprofit organizations as well as for community coalitions and agencies and serves as a trainer for the National Coalition Academy on behalf of Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America.
