We are pleased to announce Annie Brown as ABN's new administrative assistant.
Annie grew up in Blount County and attended Maryville College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in writing and communications.
Before joining the team at the Alliance for Better Nonprofits (ABN), she gained over three years of experience as administrative assistant and communications liaison for a nonprofit, the Knoxville Montessori School.
While at the Knoxville Montessori School (KMS), Annie focused on development and marketing and was a guest contributor for the Knoxville Mom’s Blog. She attended training workshops at ABN and fell in love with ABN’s mission to help nonprofits become more efficient and effective.
Prior to her experience at KMS, Annie was as a buyer for Three Rivers Market, Knoxville’s community food co-op. At the co-op, she valued the opportunity to support and connect to our local and regional communities.
Outside of ABN, Annie enjoys exploring Knoxville and being outdoors with her 4-year-old son.
Since becoming administrative assistant at ABN, Annie has become passionate about nonprofits and supporting their success. You can contact Annie at ABrown@betternonprofits.org or (865) 313-2077 x 205.
