Meet Our New Team Member!

ABN is pleased to announce that, following an extensive national search, we have appointed Eddie Crim to serve as Assistant Director of Capacity Building. Eddie comes to us with a truly unique set of qualifications. A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, Eddie also earned a master’s degree in digital photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design and will complete his MBA, with a concentration in entrepreneurship and innovation, at UT’s Haslam College of Business this December. He has served as an adjunct faculty member teaching photography at Pellissippi State and the University of Tennessee.

In addition to his outstanding academic credentials, Eddie has been a small business owner and brings that welcome perspective to our work at ABN. At UT, he served as the Director of Philanthropy for the Tennessee Organization of MBAs, the College’s flagship student organization. Eddie volunteers with multiple nonprofits, including Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee, Relay for Life, MEDIC, and Second Harvest Food Bank.

Eddie grew up in Nashville but has called Knoxville home for the past 16 years. He is married to his wife, Holly, who is a family practice physician.

Eddie has served as an intern in the ABN office since January. He will report to Elle Benson, ABN’s Director of Capacity Building, and is replacing Chloe Perry, who has taken another position in the Tri-Cities. You can contact Eddie at ecrim@betternonprofits.org or (865) 313-2077 x208.

Please join us in welcoming Eddie and Holly to the ABN family!
